CBL-ComputerBasedLearning
CBL/Computer Based Learning
We are a non-profit organization that works with partners in the technology community and other businesses to assist in the green project for recycling, refurbishing and reusing old computers that require some upgrades and/or repairs so that we can furnish other non-profits, churches, charter schools and lower socioeconomic communities with affordable and reliable technology. Many of our systems are donated to recipients in the New Mexico communities and to our neighbors in the south, Mexico.
We have been partnered with Comptia, NCF,(National Cristina Foundation), Microsoft MARs Program, Dr. Dans, Computer Reruns and All Seasons Day School to name a few of our partners. We recently established a partnership with MRCOG, of New Mexico in an effort to provide training to the unemployed adults in our communities. Some of the charter schools, parochial schools and rural schools have benefitted from our program and we continue to maintain our relationship with these partners in an effort to assist our community and environment.
Our philoshy is simple; "provide excellence and strive on success to those we serve in our communities and earthly environment"; If ever you are in need of an affordable computer, or computers and don't mind an experienced system please contact us. We have what it takes to fit your budget and needs. Furthermore, we are certified partners with Microsoft in their MARs America Program. MARs, is Microsoft Authorized Refurbishers and you can trust that we service our systems with the best in OS appllications and licensed products from Microsoft.
2012 Greets New and Exciting Changes for the New Year!
New affiliates and partners for the new year include the following; first to our new affliates is the CFY-Computers for Youth Program who sponsor and provide some of the best software available to families and youth who may be attempting to pursue their learning at home or wish to augment their learning by enriching it with some of the best curriculum offered. CBL was impressed with the software and its applications which are geared to students from 4th grade on into high school. Furthermore, the fee is nominal to NFPs and really can make inroads into bringing students back into the classroom. For more info on this website and to see first hand how this software is being used visit them at www.cfy.org and let them know that we at CBL sent you.
We are currently working together on joint ventures addressing the needs of many of our at-risk populations and are hoping to spear head a new and innovative program of learning for native american youth. Some of the native american reservations are in remote areas and this presents a problem in as far as connectivity for computer resources and applications. CFY to the rescue with some of their donated laptops and their software for learning we can now address student learning and tutoring with their on board applications. Stay tuned for more info to come........
As always stay tuned and contact us at our email address on this page.
